Another great transaction with AllStarBowling
« on: August 02, 2007, 10:58:12 PM »
First of all, I will say that I too was caught in the loop of delay from Joe and his crew last month.  I won't argue that it was difficult to get a hold of Joe during that time, but once I did he was quickly back on top of things. Patience definatly paid off.

I'd ordered a Cherry Vibe, and preordered a No Mercy Beat'n near the start of July.  I will add that the price I was given saved me about 50 to 70 dollars over what I would have been asked to pay at any of my local shops (price included drilling and shipping too!).  Joe finally got around to cutting and sending the Vibe two weeks ago.  The No Mercy Beatn was shipped out yesterday (Thursday) to arrive via UPS here on Monday.  Needless to say, I'm a happy customer.

This is just one of many positive transactions I've had with Allstarbowling-Joe. For one person to be taking care of it, he does a great job of handling both the ebay and ballreview transactions I've made with him.  Thanks Joe

I totally agree. Patience definitely paid off for me too.

I just ordered some ball polish, while they kept sending wrong items to me. I could finally get a hold of Joe, he took care of me right away, and he even put some free stuffs in, not to mention that he sent them with 2nd day, and let me keep the wrong items that had previous sent to me.

Thanks you for making me to be a happy customer, Joe.

That is one thing, when Joe screws up he usually makes up for it and then some.

Bill

I opened the box to look at the alignment for you and thought that would
be ok.   Normally I cant go thru every box and look for a Pin/MB alignment.
I specifically put the sticker on it to mark it as being 15 so that I knew
what it was while it was out of the box so that it didnt get mixed up with
any other Beatn's in the shop to be drilled.   I go as far as I can and even
more with everyone to make them happy.   If you would prefer a replacement
ball I can arrange for that as well.

Thanks,
Joe

I sincerely doubt that your ball was drilled and shipped out within
24 hours after ordering it.
You are constantly sticking up for this this guy and his screw ups.. cut him some slack,he hurt his leg,his head hurts, the pimple on his nose is so big he cannot see,  blah ,blah blah...

And what about on your profile which reads this:

I have never put a full effort into bowling and therefore know 'next to nothing' about BALL DRILLING, I leave this to MIKE CIMBA the PRO (also a BR member)who drills ALL my balls.

What happened to Mike?

Uhh...did you read the beginning of the profile?

"UPDATED MAY 29, 2005"

God forbid something changes in 2 years...

TheMEZZ .. Mike Cimba is still up and operating .. my last connection with him was when we bowled together in June at RENO. Mike is one of the best guys/drillers you will ever meet! I stopped dealing with Mike about 2 years ago for my own reasons .. we are still best of friends!

I explain this to you only because you ask! I have no argument with you and don't wish to get in a contest with you.

I write on here .. MY EXPERIENCES! You doubt that I speak the truth when I tell you that a bowling ball I ordered on Thursday was in the mailing system on Friday and I repeat .. it happened. Truth is, with the exception of maybe 3, the last 16 balls (since Jan 2006) have been handled the same way!

Yes I will stand up for ALLSTAR JOE when I feel there is reason too .. fact is I would stand up for you when I feel you are right!

I also believe that workers are entitled to time away from their jobs. I believe that ALL WORK AND NO PLAY isn't the best solution. If AS JOE was away from the shop he doesn't have to explain himself to all .. that's where I used the term CUT HIM SOME SLACK! If you disagree that's your choice!

I've only attempted one transaction and it didn't go through because the ball that I ordered off the sit he didn't have.  If I could at least trust that he actually has what I want, I would buy from him, but I don't want to have to go through the trouble of filling everything out, paying for the ball, blah, blah, blah, and then get no ball in the end.  It's a huge waste of my time, so he should AT LEAST get everything straight before he says that he's got a ball he doesn't have.

I'm sorry themezz, but this is where you are wrong.  I too, as JOE FALCO stated, have had experiences with Allstarbowling where the ball was drilled and shipped out the very next day after I'd ordered/sent payment for it.  Whether this be through ebay or direct contact via ballreviews with Joe, its not much of a wait between when the ball is paid for, and when it's placed into UPS' tracking system drilled.

I guess Joe must like me never anything that he did not make up for with me if i was not happy, i have bought at least 120-150 balls from him maybe closer to 200 over the last 3 years.

I had one incident that i was not really happy about and he gave me a comp ball to make up for it, again i fully trust him over any other ebay sellers or on here.

Bowlingball.com is the only other company that comes close to Joe and that includes the almighty revered Buddiesproshop that when i ask if they had certain ball specs in stock answer me back with 3-4 word answers that avoid my direct question.
