BESTBOWLING PRO SHOP

Had a very bad experience with them.  Tried to order a Storm Too Hot.  Called to see if the had the ball, which they said they did.  I normally pay for everything by check.  They cashed my check and told me they has lost their distributor but I would be getting it in a couple of weeks.  Six weeks no ball. Called about the ball, and was treated badly.  Had to write the Attorney General (AG) in Arkansas.  They didn't not respond initially.  After going back and forth with them through the AG's Office, I finally get a call after six months.  The caller stated they could not get the ball but offered me a Brunswick Smash R or Swamp Monster.  I agreed to the Smash R.  What I got was a discontinued Purple Monster.  When I tried to contact them, no response.  Save yourself some aggravation and go to a reputable online sight.  By the way, they are still advertising the Too Hot which they say they can't get.

Just thinking out loud.  If they sent you the ball by US Mail parcel post, would that be mail fraud.  Mail fraud is a federal offence.

BBB won't touch these guys........they turn your complaint over to USPS mail fraud division.  Been there, done that.

Number one, I'm surprised they even answered your call, and on top of that, at least you got A ball.  Refer to this post for details.  http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=9988&ForumID=72&CategoryID=5

Hi guys, I am new to the board I thought I would share my experience with BestBowling.com. I ordered a pair of NXT shoes from BestBowling.com without knowing about this website and problems with BestBowling.com.  I found this forum and read the horror stories in dealing with them.  I tried to cancel the order by email (their mailbox was full, no surprise), and I received no answer when calling.  I ordered the shoes on about April 7, I didn't hear from them until May 21 saying they shipped out my shoes.  I thought they scammed me so i ordered the shoes from bowling.com (took about 5 days to get) and had no problems.  I guess I am lucky they sent me my stuff, and strangely enough the return label had the name S. Fossil on it and it from from Kansas.  My credit card was also charged under the name "Internet Bowling Supplies" and not "Best Bowling".  Had I known of the problems I would have stayed away.  I warn everyone to stay away from BestBowling.com.

Best Bowling Pro Shop, Deep South Bowling Supplies, Internet Bowling Supplies, and now Lo-Mar Bowling Supply.....now we really have some interesting bed fellows getting together!

The plot thickens.  Ian Fleming could write another James Bond flick out of this mess!
