Bowling.com has to be one of the biggest and most reputable shops on the net. I work at a pro shop, stuff gets backordered, computers take time to update, and besides, what if they had it in stock a few minutes before you ordered it, and in the time it took you to order it, two or three others placed an order before you? I realize that's the exception rather than the rule, but it's possible. The distributors don't call all the people they supply everytime something goes on backorder, they'd never get anything done. Then if you order something they've been able to get recently, and they go to order it and find it's on backorder, it's not their problem, because it's an online site. Then when they find it's on backorder, that's when they put "out of stock" on stuff. If you don't want the complication, you should call them and have them call their distributor (unless they currently have it in their possession) to make sure it's available before you buy it. It's not their fault if it takes 2-3 weeks to get something to you, that's how long they have to wait before they can get it themselves! They ask you if you like to cancel because that's good business. Because instead of waiting on them, it gives you the freedom to order somewhere else. You might want to delete the topic, you don't know what you're talking about. Just shows the impatient ignorance of the upcoming generation . . .
