Guys/Gals, Robert is a stand-up guy (no, he didn't pay me to say this hehe).

I've had my Premiere slide sock since February of 05' in time for the Megabuck Tournaments in Vegas.
Since then I've used it in 14 bowling alleys (10 wood & 4 synthetic)
I haven't washed it yet either.
I have the Dexter SST 6's from 2001 and I haven't made any heel/sliding adjustments.
All I did was put the sock over the sliding shoe and I'm good to go!

If you have any questions, call Robert up, great guy & great service!

Regards, Ramtart

Are these going to only be avilable in pro shops.. or are you, the MFG, going to sell to the public....  therefore, pro shops should not even stock the item...

We have sold them for years to Pro Shops and distributors but there are many places in the country that still they are not available.  We sell them mail order out of our Pro Shop in Irving Texas off our website. Hopefully word of mouth will travel to the areas we are not able to reach.  We will be running a special promo geared for individuals very soon.  We have purchased an over stock of some cover materials and will be passing on the savings for that material.  If you do not mind a certain color the price will be less than our normal prices.

BTW  Flyers will be sent shortly to those requesting them.  We have been swamped with new production machines and are just about caught up.  No order delays!

For some reason our web hosting provider had a problem and our website was taken down and someone elses put in it's place. After reviving Sandra we contacted our provider and resolved the issue. Anyone receiving mailers or placing orders we are now back online. Sorry about any inconveniences.

Thank you

Hi Ryan!

Thanks for asking.  There is a night and day difference between the Ebonite, Columbia, Amf and our product.  I have not seen the Brunswick yet and will have one shortly.  What I will do is give you our facts sheet here:

Bowler's Slide Sock Facts
A.    It's not about being slick.  The Bowler's Slide Sock is about a natural consistent slide on slick, normal or tacky approaches.

Q:    I have used other slide products and they wear out quickly  What about Bowler's Slide Sock?
A:    No! Under normal usage the Bowlers Slide Sock will last longer.  It is not unusual for a Bowler's Slide Sock to last over 6 month's to a year under normal bowling conditions and with proper care. 2 to 3 leagues a week avg.
Q:    I wore a hole in a different brand sock and couldn't get another one quickly.
A:    If you do manage to wear a hole in a Bowler's Slide Sock that's no problem. The Bowler's Slide Sock is made with a heavy 2 ply bottom.  Just turn it inside out and go back to bowling.
Q:    I like to buy U.S. made products!
A:    All Bowler's Slide Socks are made by hand in Irving Texas USA! ( We  have special tooling! ) and a special production facility.
Q:    You say I can use this sock on any condition?
A:    We will say almost all.  We constantly test our product using traveling league conditions, Senior Scratch Bowling events around the Southwest and other parts of the country.  We test it on wood and synthetic approaches in all weather conditions.  Our testers tell us they NEVER take it off and have found no condition where it does not work, Slick or Tacky!  This does not mean there is not a condition that it will not work in, we just have not found one in 5 years.  Kansas City, Las Vegas, Chicago, Tucson, Tulsa, Shreveport, San Antonio. Florida, to California, Minnesota to South Texas.
Q:    Ok So how does it do it?
A:    It is in the design and technology.  The 2 ply bottom and construction, along with the materials used allow it to perform in all conditions,  Bowler's Slide Sock does not use a cheap flannel-like single ply bottom!
Q:    What can I expect when I first use the Bowler's Slide Sock?
A:    Normally the Bowler's Slide Sock is very fast when first put on if not scuffed first.  We recommend that bowlers scuff the bottom of the sock by rubbing into a carpet surface.  This will dull the surface and the sock will quickly dial it's self in.
Q:    I've got size 16 shoes and my wife's got size 4 what do we do?
A:    Not a problem!  Custom sizes can be done by mailing SLSM Designs a tracing of your shoe complete with slide pad.  We will make custom sizes and colors if available.  There is a small custom charge.
Q:    Why do you not accept credit cards directly over the web?
A:    Many people just do not trust it.  We like to also ask a few questions as to what type of shoe will it be going on and lane conditions our customers are trying to combat.  By calling the customer personally it also allows us to describe how to use and care for our product.
Q:    My Local Pro Shop has never heard of Bowler's Slide Sock and SLSM Designs.
A:    Not unusual.  We are a small company that started out by making the Bowler's Slide Sock by request.  We started by people asking " Would you make me six or a dozen".  All were special order at that time.  We received so many orders that eventually it grew into a business with customers all over the country.  Located in Texas it is hard to walk in the door of a Pro Shop owner in Buffalo but we would like to.  If you are a Pro Shop or you want you local Pro Shop to carry our product let us know.  We can make contact.

We are the only company that has a model specifically designed for wide foot print bowling shoes!(Our Premier II) and we own the patent.

Our first customers that we custom made for were the editor and writers of a very famous bowling magazine.  Our ad was on the back cover of their 2003 Ball Review Guide!

The big difference is in materials used and the construction of the product.  It slides better, it last longer, it's reversible, the materials are of heavier better quality, it comes in 2 main sizes and can be custom ordered to size, and  If you are using something else this sock will make you throw the others away.

Simply the finest made slide sock on the planet.

Ryan

The materials we use cover just about all ranges.  It may sound odd but people ask us what is the equivalent Dexter slide sole is it an 8 or 10??  It's all of them!  We had heard that Dexter tried to use the same materials as a test and it did not work. The sole method did not have the same effect.

Currently there are 10 to 12 major slide sock manufactures in a very small market.    We have competed with the other brands for 5 years now and have had our best year to date.  It is getting hard and confusing to customers as to what the differences are exactly.  A slide sock is not a slide sock is a slide sock any more.  Bowlers are now having to learn about the differences and be selective when purchasing.

i have been a slide sock user for quite some time now.  i bowl a lot of different centers in northern california and nevada and they work great.  i had a problem with only one center, (bowling center in rohnert park).  we bowled there in a travel league and interestingly all of their house bowlers had no problem and most of us had trouble.  however, once i turned the sock inside out to the newer surface, i had no further problem.  i have converted a few bowlers here in northern california and i am working on a few others.  strictly grass roots word of mouth.  when i went to baton rouge in march, the shop at the convention center had a few, but not my size, or i would have purchased a spare.  i did order a spare a short time later.
