Blockbusterbowling - Not a great first experience....
« on: March 05, 2011, 09:22:47 AM »
I ordered polish and cleaner from these guys two weeks ago. Email communication wasn't bad, but after waiting two weeks for the backorder, it arrives without my product. Two weeks wasted. That's not the worst though. Their email indicates they have refunded my card... Does anyone else HATE IT like I do when someone charges your card and doesn't have product in the first place...   :(

Your ordered some polish

They notified you it was on back order

You agreed to wait

Their order came in and you item was still on backorder

You canceled the order

They issued a refund

Are you out any money here dude?

Were you ripped off?

The communicated with you and let you know what was going on, correct?

So what is the issue here?

You HATE IT because you card was charged.

Funny. This is the same text I got in email. YOu must be posting under that name... "They" huh? My point is still the same, never charge a card until you have product and can take the order. Simple.

Now, the constant email and hate mail here that I get from you after the cancellation, that needs further examination...

Stay away from this outfit...

Lefty, were the emails from them associated with the company, such as an @blockbusterbowling.com or something? If so, this is terrible customer service. The company would be better off ignoring their complaints than addressing them in this manner. I'd be interested in seeing the actual text of the email along with the address it was sent from.

Effy, I appreciate the note, but I'm not going to waste the time it would take to keep responding here. I hope you can understand. The purpose of feedback is to help others avoid a similar situation.

Mezz, if you're on your own, that's cool, but you may be psychic. The text and wording are identical. Maybe you're channelling them  :)

To answer your final point though. Yup, definitely hate to see a card charged and then refunded, creating two transactions when there ended up being no transaction. What a waste.

That's it for me on this thread. Message delivered, and over 100 emails to answer for the office before the dawn. Moving on to other things guys... Caveat emptor, right?
