bowlingball.com = WOW
« on: July 18, 2005, 06:45:18 AM »
I have been thinking about getting one of the Monster Bruiser's off of their site for a while now.  I really couldn't beat the price of $54 shipped.  However, last week I decided to place a bid on one of their eBay auctions (listed under the eBay name bowlmart) just to see if I could get it cheaper.  I won the auction at $20.50, plus the $20.95 for shipping which made it $41.45.  After using $4.25 in eBay anything points, I was able to get this ball for $37.20 shipped.  When making payment, I asked for a 2"-3" pin and between 2.5oz and 3.5oz top weight.  The ball was delivered today (took less than 4 days via UPS, Florida to Texas) and it has PERFECT specs.  2"-3" pin and 3.3oz TW.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOWLINGBALL.COM!!!

I have also purchased an ebay ball from them and without asking for specific specs I got a C300 Formula with a 3 inch pin and 3.5 oz TW.

Just don't ask for specific specs on the TPC Players they are dumping on eBay.  I was asking for 2-3" and never got more than 1.5" on the two that I won.

That's what happens when you buy in bulk...sell the good stuff locally and dump the rest on ebay for cheap.

IT also doesn't hurt when you buy 3-4000 balls at a shot from a supplier as they are being discontinued :-)
