Title: Bowlingball.com?
Post by: DukeHarding on May 29, 2008, 04:00:53 AM
Just wondering?

I purchase bowling balls from bowlingball.com, also from their ebay store.

I wanted to purchase case or 2 of balls...never received an answer.

PMing with another BR member, he said he had the same experience.

Do they reply to messages through ebay or email?

I've contacted them both ways w/o a response.

I have not had luck either way contacting them and don't expect a huge price break on the shipping costs, they will still charge you alot for shipping multiple balls..

Hi,

We currently only offer quantity discounts on out exclusive products by the case.  We do respond to emails that we receive, just make sure you include a subject line.  We receive thousands of SPAM messages every day and blank subject lines often get filtered out and we don't catch them.

Duke,

When I have bought a ball from their Ebay store, I did get emails from Keith Spear after I sent him a query, but that was about a year ago.

Maybe a phone message is a better idea?

Just purchased 2 balls through their ebay store (twisted fury and ultra).  Received both email and a return call back in regards to the first ball purchase.  Just purchased the ultra last night and expect to have another pleasant exchange as well.  Just from my limited experience, they appear to be doing the best they can in regards to customer support.

When I called their number I had to give a recorded message and fortunately I received a call back from a service rep in less than 10 minutes. She was able to address my concerns effectively and enabled me to have "peace of mind" with my transaction and shipping.
