THE CRANIUM BALL
"New & In Stock!"
Sounds legit!

I've order from them recently, in 2010 actually. They have a lot of the older equipment in stock that is hard to find elsewhere. The site is legimate.

They don't update things very often...if at all, but I've never heard a report of anyone having a bad transaction with them. The site is/was run by some former LPBT bowlers, so I don't think you're dealing with shady characters here. I just think they operate the site as a side business instead of a main source of revenue like a buddies or bowlingball.com. Nevertheless, if you're worried, send them an email to inquire. If they get back to you and you feel good about things, go ahead and buy something. If that isn't the case, you'll know to stay away.

not quite.
The site is run by Pat(rick) Duggan, husband of Anne Marie Duggan, a professional bowler and pro sho operator.
No, he/she/they are not shady at all. Pat is extremely responsible and a good man to deal with. The web site is an active part of his business, but maybe good reliable web programmers to maintain your site are not readily available in thei rneck of the woods.

Pat does have a good stash of older balls, and those he does try to update regularly. If you go into some of those balls you''ll see they''re available in restricted weights, like 16 or 12. I recently ordered some golden oldies: a Lanemaster Buzz and an AMF Titan (the original pearl). He called me just to double check the pins and to tell me what top weights he had in stock.

This is all correct from my dealing with them. I ordered a couple of Legends balls and Pat called me to give me pin options of what he has in stock. Very good people to do business with from my experience.
