Cheapbowlingballs.com-Customer service

Ordered a ball from them and called to ask some question and they acted like i was a bother.Not very friendly at all.Will be the last time I ever order anything from them.Buddies and Bowling.com was very friendly.I called them and ordered 10 balls with no problems.Anyone else have a problem?

And on top of that he over charged me 7 dollars.
Left a message for them to call me but never did.

As they say, even bad publicity is publicity...

I'll go to the well for him, even though it was almost a year ago, I purchased a ball from the guys at cheapbowlingballs.com and found the customer service to be excellent!  I had forgotten some vital information in my order and called and left a message, my call was returned in less than a day and the gentleman I spoke to was more than nice!  Not sure if there's been a change in ownership since then, but from my experience with these guys, I can't imagine a situation like this happening.  Is there more to the story?

Sounds like a LOT of this could have been handled without the accusations and inuendos placed on a public forum.  It also sounds like a few people might have to recant their opinions toward Mr. Hilligas, as well.  His initial comment, "Thanks for the advertizing." may have been his only mistake.  Even though it was tongue in cheek, it might have been better left unsaid.  Jim had the stones to apologize in his first post(before the "apologizing" comment) and has since provided evidence that was not at our disposal when this began.  As long as the customer received what he/she ordered, in a timely manner, what was the problem?  It sounds like there might have been a miscommunication problem during the phone conversation that started the downward spiral.  In the end, I hope you received the product you were hoping for in a timely manner and, if you wish, allow another online proshop to earn your business or continue your positive transactions with buddies and bowling. com
