All Star Bowling Item on EBAY
« on: February 27, 2008, 11:14:14 PM »
Won an auction from this website. Been trying to get a tracking # for the past few days but no response. Has anyone had the same experience. If this outfit is putting stuff on Ebay, you would think they would have the decency to at least give you a tracking #. The last time I am going to deal with this outfit !

All Star bowling's Ebay feedback is horrible. I saw some enticing items but I knew it was Joe and I stayed away. I work too hard for my money to gamble it on Joe.

Fpr some reason, all of there items are gone. I had a few things in my watch list that did not end for a couple days, now there is nothing. Last night they had over 125 items for sale. Anyone know what happened?

the same thing as always if the bidding isnt going to make them money he takes them off.  not to mention the fact that half the time the specs are wrong.

Or maybe e-bay is just tired of all the complaints themselves.

People who purchase items on e-bay and can't get their merchandise can file a claim with e-bay, not just sellers who can't collect.

I once won a ball from A.S.B. in an e-bay auction.  It was for a ball AND drilling.  Won it real cheap and sort of felt guilty.  FINALLY got hold of Joe ( after three days worth of phone calls ) to give him my drilling specs and how I wanted it set up.  I even offered to take a cheaper ball because I had won it so cheaply.

Then, after almost 10 days, the ball shows up at my house.  I never did get the tracking number for some reason ( and yes, my filters are set correctly).

Opened the box and was NOT PLEASED.  The ball was right, but the drilling was so far off that the first thing I had to do was take it to get the thumb plugged and re-drilled.  They missed it by over 1/2 inch!  At least I hadn't spent a lot on it.

I would not do business the way Joe does, and I will not do business with them again.

i ordered a ball from there a few days ago (friday it may have ended) and i was fairly pleased had a good pin in it (3.5) and its a discontinued ball i would never let anyone drill my equiptment that i dont know and can watch them do it thats just asking for trouble as far as i am concerned, and as far as i heard (i was bidding on the 16lb pryo and this is something like what ebay said to me abnout what happened with allstarbowling...) this is what they said.  They said that the guy had done something to break the rules of ebay and that they ended the auction and that is when i saw that his whole store was cleaned out i was suprised and dissapointed all at the same time i just hoped that i was going to get my ball and i did obviously and i'm happy with it i think even though i payed quite a bit for it that i still got a deal except shipping that was ridiculous like 30 bucks almost that didnt make me happy at all but oh well its here now and i'm not going to cry about it.  Its a good looking product and i'm glad that i bought it but i dont think that i would buy anything from him again, due to the fact that ebay shut his account down

To update my situation Joe contacted me and wanted to make right. After a couple of emails back and forth we came to an agreement and I am very happy. I give Joe credit for being a stand up guy and contacting me. He wanted to make thing right and he did. So I am going to delete my negative posts about ASB and I am willing to give them a try again because of the effort put forth by Joe.

I have bought a couple of balls from Joe. He is not a crook. Good guy. May be slow sometime, but most of us are.

Hello

If there is one thing I will say about myself is that if there is a problem
with any sort of transaction I will do what I can to make it to your
benefit as when you transact business with us you didnt do it in hopes of
a problem.   I try to do my best with it and problems have happened and have
been handled.   Thank you again for letting me make sure you were taken care
of Sam.

Thanks,
J

whats different about this post joe?  Seems like every 3-4 months we get the same response from you then everything i great for about a week or two then the same thing happens.  I have done deals with you before some were great and others very bad.  Im sorry in my opinion and to you and others on this site it may or may not be taken seriously but i think it is time to make a xhange your business ethics and then let the new reputation take the place of these posts about you making everything good.
