buddies pro shop shipping question.
« on: August 23, 2004, 07:19:31 AM »
I have noticed different prices for shipping from them when ordering same weight of ball. for example track rule cost me 15.75 to ship 14# ball but if i ship a viscious attack its 9 dollars to ship. Why the difference in price to ship same weight same place? Only thing i can think of is its a drop ship price. Meaning thats what they have to pay to whoever is shipping the ball out for them and the other price is shipping for what they have in stock. Does this sound reasonable for the price difference? Its the only thing I coud think of as to why a difference in price.

From their website:

"Why are there different shipping rates for different bowling balls?
A variety of our balls are only available at one of the warehouse that we work with, when this happens, the shipping rate is based out of that warehouse. When the item is located at several of warehouses, we base the shipping out of our main location."
