I ordered a 16# Levrg with pin 3-4 inches. Ball arrived quickly but the specs were not quite as close as I had hoped. It was a little disappointing to find the mass bias so far off line. The best position for the mass bias would be in line with the pin and cg. This one was almost three inches right of the line drawn from pin through cg to mass bias. Additionally, the pin is more than 4 3/4 inches from the cg. This is too far for how I had intended to drill the ball.
I'm disappointed with this purchase.

Both pin and mass bias were not what I had requested. If that was all they had, I would have preferred an email to an inaccurate shipment. This ball is going to be a challenge to drill the way I wanted.
-
I understand that the mass bias is 6 3/4 inches from the pin. I also understand that the cg has little to no influence on the ball. Since I wanted the mass bias under my thumb, I now have a cg left of my grip line, so it requires an extra hole. That isn't what I wanted.

Have you talked to Buddies about this ball ?
-
Buddies will exchange it. Just contact bill about it.

My question would be, what did the box say? If the box said 3-4 inches, then I would say it's not their fault. It's a little un-realistic to expect them to open every box and inpect the ball to make sure it matches the label. And as far as the mass bias off line? Why is that their fault? They didn't make the ball. I would just contact them, they are VERY customer focused.

Read what everybody else said here about this. Then call Buddies instead of posting here. Bet you dollars to doughnuts they can make you happy. Whether you deserve to be or not is another question entirely!
(If I were them, the way you whined here, I'd be very annoyed with your behavior. Whether it's what you wanted or not, if the box said 3-4" pin, then that ball is exactly what you ordered. No one checks every ball inside the box and measures it before sending it to the buyer. The CG does not have to be in line with the pin and the Mass bias. Unless you specifically ask for that, no one or darned few will check that either.)

What all this comes down to is being a douche, boo I don't want to call them so I will bash on the internet.. O I don't want an x hole.. boo hoo... I ordered a ball from the net, site unseen, instead of going to a proshop and paying for what I get, now i'm pissy it didn't work right.. CRY ME A FREAKING RIVER, then please drown in it.

Not for nothin, but when Chris says he's "out of town" he's way out of town too. He's not around the corner, he's on the other side of the country bowling. Yet he still took a minute to answer your message.. If there's any question as to whether or not Buddies is customer focused, it was just answered.
