I am going to chicago for the weekend from the great white north and was wondering if anyone knows any good proshops in the area?

Dunno about quality one way or the other, but Steve Jaros has a pro shop just south of Chicago.  I'd be tempted to go just to try to meet him.

I double and triple that, William Clark at River Rand Bowl is Very good and has a Large selection of balls including Track, Lane#1 and Morich. Very nice and knowledgeable person and excellent driller.

I have not gotten anything drilled by Danny G., who works at Niles Brunswick,  but I know him and he is a very nice guy and I heard is a good driller also.

- Just north of the city - The Bowling Store in the Niles Brunswick. Not sure who owns it now, but Jeff Ash used to.

Rich Blake (multi time PBA regional winner) bought it from Jeff about a year ago
