Blockbuster Bowling...wtf
« on: December 23, 2008, 10:18:23 AM »
Ya so my father in law wants Linds classic's which I know rumors about them but heard they moved to Mexico and cut production. I didn't even know they were still in business. Back in the 90's Linds were terrific shoes. I had the classics and to be honest I tried to abuse those shoes and they lasted forever. Once I learned to hook the ball they slid way too much and got the XXX'tra's and they lasted a few years...not as good as the hard but thin material of the Classic.

Finding these pair of shoes under 70 bucks for Christmas was not easy! Finally found a site, Blockbuster Bowling. A few days ago I realized they may be late for Christmas but oh well but noticed on my bank statement they took my money and refunded it! I signed up for a password on their site and they never sent me an email and looked at my order and it wasn't there! Nothing! What could have caused this?

So now it will be late and I'm thinking on eBay is the best choice with around 90 bucks but may talk with my wife because I'm looking at 900 Global shoes which are similar to my Dynothane's and I think he would like those just as much.

There really is too many cheap shoes like Dexter and Brunswick I will not get him because I'm sure he would like them to last more then 6 months. (cough Dexter cough)

Brian,
We were closing these shoes out and our inventory said we had one pair in size 8 1/2 Black left.
When we went to pull it and ship it for you it was not there as our inventory count was incorrect.
We issued a refund back to your credit card and sent you an email to
XXX@yahoo.com letting you know why the order was not shipped.
In your posting regarding this I must assume you never got the email.
Did you check you spam folder?
Yahoo email sends lots of emails to their spam folder as I also use Yahoo email
and many emails that should have gone directly to my inbox are sent to spam.
You also could have either emailed us or given us a call regarding your order.

Sincerely,
Geri Meardy

It was probably in my spam folder even though it usually does not filter spam effectively. I appreciate Blockbuster's effort to get back with me.

And yes, I do think I should have ranted at the time mezz...it's my money thank you. People think they know everything "these days".

Look dude. I have 4 freakin accounts and I don't watch them like a hawk all day. I don't know why I didn't receive a email. I don't know why I didn't receive a phone call.

But what's the point of creating a user id to view your order on the site when there is nothing there? So that is my gripe. If you don't like my post I don't know what to tell you. Let's play a game a Yahoo pool or something.

I believe they have been made in China for a few years now!!!!

And I see you don't like Dexter,  the NUMBER ONE selling shoe in bowling.
And Dexter makes Brunswick.
