I had been looking for a bowling ball for quite some time now. I looked at ballreviews.com and bowlingballreviews.com for insight on many of today's balls. I was stumped, my options were endless. Finally I narrowed the search down to two companies, Lane 1 or Hammer. I decided I needed a little more info so I e-mailed Doug. I told him what I had and told him the hole I had between my arsenal. He reccomended the Hammer Sling Blade and Big Blue.
At first I was reluctant, but I wanted to try a new proshop and something told me to go to Doug. He was GREAT. I asked him all sorts of questions while he drilled the balls up. He didn't act like I was bothering him, like most of the other shops I've been to did. He took the time to answer everything I threw at him. At the end he even told me that if the balls didn't do what I expected them to or if there was a problem with the fit, to send them right back and he would drill me another. He's my proshop guy from now on!!!!! Even if I have to drive 4 hours to get to his place
