Anybody had Joe drill any of your purchased equipment from him?  Like to hear your experiences.

Thanks!

Scott, I had Joe Drill my Mean Machine from specs I gave him over the phone, He couldn't have drilled it any better if I was standing there with him. Last nite 1st nite of league 220-259-225. He's got my business from now on!!!!! Hope this helps.

I've had three balls drilled by Allstarbowling-Joe. All spec's were right on. I took a screen shot of the allbowling.com grip specification form Allbowling.com Grip/Drill Spec sheet (http://"http://www.allbowling.com/registry/public.php?regid=7&view=specs"), used paintbrush to paste in the layout and drilling specifics of the ball's I was purchasing. Emailed him a copy of the form. Worked great.

p.s. Allstar just drilled the holes and the layout. I do my own finishing work (ie bevel, sanding, installing inserts).

Thanks for the replies guys.  Have to think about it.  I am using my local pro and he's a good guy with a Ebonite Mill and uses the oval thumb which I've gotten used to.

KeglerX.......your procedure seems a very good way to go.

I have had Joe drill the last 7 balls, I have bought.  Very happy with his customer service.  Great fit and few.

Allstarbowling has drilled my last seven balls, along with a few for my wife and kids. Using the oval thumb, all the drillings feel identical and the layouts I asked for or what he recommended have been top-notch.

Give the guys over at Allstarbowling the measurements, your ball will come back a perfect match.

Locals in my area which I reside and deal with have had over 40 balls drilled, all have been very satisfied. On many cases, have since made Allstarbowling their primary driller.

He also caught a misteak on a lay out for a ball he was drilling for me, called me and let me know ahead of time.

The suggested lay out would not of worked for me as I am a semi spinner.
