Hello all. I usually get to say something good about someone when I post in the feedback sections. But alas, not this time. My wife decided to be nice and order me a Lane #1 6-ball roller from Luxor Bowling Supplies. She got a good price on it shipped and was supposed to have it before my birthday on March 14. She ordered it on March 2. It is now May 30 and we have still not recieved the bag. It was sent by DHL and they do not leave packages at the door. It was sent back to him on the March 20 and he was supposed to send it back out again when he recieved it. Another week goes by and we still haven't heard anything from DHL to come get it from the warehouse. He then says he has a trace on it. 2 more weeks go by and we have not heard anything from him or DHL. My wife calls him today to request a refund. He answers the phone, she says her name, there is a long pause on the other end and he says they are not there. He has been the only one to answer the phone and she has talked to him on numerous occasions and recognized his voice. The wife is not happy and I am not happy. 3 months is too long for a bowling bag that he had in stock. If this would have been one of the other suppliers that I deal with, they would have next dayed the delivery after the first failed attempt to deliver. I have to say that I will not be doing any business with Luxor Bowling Supplies ever again.

***UPDATE***

I would like to update everyone on the status of my post. I have been in contact with Bill and we are getting things resolved. He has had serious health problems and has been unable to respond to our attempts at getting ahold of him. I am currently getting the bag in question and when I recieve it, I will remove this post and post an updated review for this transaction. Thank you for all of the replies to this post and for the help. If you still have issues with Luxor Bowling Supplies, then you will have to open your own threads and post them.

I believe his name is William or something like that.  Had issues with him as a seller as well and I believe spike_2112 had issues as well.  

Nice guy at times, but gets pissy when things don't work out too well for him.

I had problems with him buying a couple balls from him from Ebay.  Not very reliable, don't know if that guy is really on the up and up.  He gave me negative feedback, I paid him like 2 hours after the auction ended.  He gave me a negative because I gave him a neutral.  It took him over a week to ship the ball(s) to me after I paid.  Pissy is a very good word for him, very pissy.  Then he blocked me from buying his auctions as if I ever would again.

Watch out for this guy.

Well since my wife called him the other day. Now we get no answer when we call. I am guessing that he has caller ID and is screening calls from New Mexico with a 505 area code. I tried sending a message a couple of weeks ago through his website and got no response to that either. I really just want to get my money back at this point and maybe get a Visionary Test Staff membership instead with the 4-ball upgrade. Anybody know of another way of getting ahold of him?

FYI LuxorBowling is not longer a registered Ebay user.

Makes me wonder if he has gone out of business altogether.

i ask him a deal, and he answered back threatening me that hes going to give me negative feedback, then well i F bombed his whole family

it was also related to a 3 bag roller

some ppl just dont know how to make business

Well I still can't get a hold of anyone at the number on the website. Two rings and straight to an automated answering machine. We have talked to our bank and will be filling out paperwork to get our money back. Hopefully everything will go okay and we can get a refund. Wish me luck.

I HAD TROUBLE WITH THIS GUY TOO.ORDERED SOME BOWLERS TAPE.IT TOOK ABOUT 2 MONTHS
FOR ME TO FINALLY GET IT,AFTER DEALING WITH HIS PISSY ATTITUDE THROUGH EMAILS.ATLEAST

I ordered a ball and a bag from Luxor. I got the ball but the bag was back ordered. Because it was a birthday present for my brother and they couldn't tell me when it would be in I asked the owner Bill to cancel the order for the bag and please refund my money. After receiving a few rude unprofessional replies to my emails Bill agreed to refund my money for the bag but would not refund the shipping fee. It took about 2 weeks for the refund to show up on my credit card. I emailed Bill a couple times during these 2 weeks to see where the credit was. In his replies he again was very unprofessional claiming he wasn't "trying to steal my damn money" and had already sent the credit through and it was my credit card company that was the problem. I ordered the same bag from bowlingball.com who also back ordered it but they had no problem refunding my money in less than 2 days and they even sent an apology email. I will never order from Luxor Bowling Supply again.

Wow another guy that goes south and never comes back, i dealt with Bill 3-4 years ago when he was brand new to Ebay, back then he was very friendly and would personally pick the exact ball from stock that i wanted from him.


He used to tell me how was supposedly bigger than Buddies Pro shop and that only Bruce Merriman ( Palacage ) from ebay was bigger in the pro shop business. That he would place 400k a year from Ebonite and that he owned around 6-7 pro shop's around Long Island.


Maybe a divorce or the IRS got this guy i do not know but it proves the pro shop game is a tough sale nowdays. Good thing my local shop is one of biggest in the nation and is growing left and right, i hope you guy's at least get some or all of your dough back good luck
