Buddies Proshop...
« on: February 13, 2008, 11:31:45 AM »
How good are they with matching a bowling ball and drilling it exactly?

I hate this house here for multiple reasons and my driller works in there, but his customer service sucks!

Since Im in the middle of freakin no where, I want to know how good they are.

I recommend them without reservation.  If you'er not close enough to drive to buddies, then send the ball you want them to take the specs off of, pitche, inserts size, span and they can match the ball perfectly.  I recommend getting the Exatacator thumb mould done for future bowling balls.

I made a video of my son and I bowling so that they weren't driling in the blind.  It worked out very well for my son and I.

Then when you find a ball you want or you need to talk to a great pro shop, you can call them or send them an email to get the information you want/need before ordering a ball.

if you're out of state there is not taxes and shipping is free.

Thanx.. Anyone else?

Not to sound cheap, but it would be more expensive to buy online and get them to drill in the proshop?

I would have to say the Guy's at Buddies are the best. Never have had any problems with they way they drill and prepare balls. And there shipping department is just Great also. Packages always on time tracking numbers right away.

I may be a little late with this but....

I started going through Buddies about two years ago. I knew Chris and Bill a little bit because I bowl in the same monthly tournament that they do. I contacted Chris, and he told me to just ship a ball to him and that he'd match it up. The drilling was spot on, and with the exception of one ball while I was at Kegel last month, Buddies has done all of my bowling equipment since. Believe me when I say that I've drilled plenty of stuff too!

Go with Buddies maniac.. You won't be sorry.
