Post by: dumbcomputers on November 05, 2007, 03:53:11 AM
Can I get a list of all online shops who will drill a ball purchased from them.

I know about these:
- BuddiesProShop.com
- Bowlersparadise.com
- Allstarbowling.com

Anymore?

How do the Online Shops do the Drilling without seeing the Bowler Bowl? Do they charge to send the Ball to them?

Doug Sterner is the only on-line driller I have ever used. He drilled 5 balls in the past for me at various times and was extremely accurate. More accurate than most local pro shops many of you go to.

Really?  I thought you put your hand up to the computer screen, and all the info comes right off your hand into their computer.  I read that somewhere.......

I have done both (buy & drill) at local pro shops and internet shops. I like the local shops if you have to discuss grip changes or layout options but I don't like their limited stock and selection of pin and tops. But since I know my drill specs and the layout I want I like the convenience of online shops.

Solid9, you have some decent prices. I'm sure I'll give you guys a try in the future when I need a new ball.
