Title: thumb pitches

Both sides (left and right) of my thumb are getting torn up. Was thinking of changing the pitch a bit, but not sure by how much.

If it's both sides it is more likely size than pitch.  You either need an oval or if you already use an oval thumb hole you need it to be resized so it is wider.
