Title: What do you guys know about...
Post by: NapoleonD on January 21, 2005, 07:08:53 AM
This site's sponsor sites?

MG Bowling seems to have some alright prices. Bowling.com's quite a bit higher but they don't have shipping costs... Anyone done business with them before? Need some advice I guess. Is it worth messing with these guys or what? I'm kinda wary of some companies as my card has been stolen and have gotten screwed through Ebay before. What should I do?

Buddiesproshop.com is what a lot of people swear by.  They're pretty much the standard of online shops (and there actually a real shop too).

Ever used them before? Do you speak from first hand experience or just 3rd party info?

I haven't used them yet, but when i buy new shoes i'm getting them there.  Do a search for "buddies pro shop" or something.  HUndreds of people bought from them, and i've never heard a complaint.  BK25 just bought a brand new arsenal from there with bags, with no problems.

Their prices speak for themselves, too.

I've never bought a ball from Buddies, but i've bought shoes and bags before.  Everything went fine.

I've bought from Buddies Pro Shop, bowling.com, and drylanes.com, and have had fantastic experiences with each of them.

bought from buddiesproshop.com, blockbusterbowling.com, and bowling.com

blockbusterbowling and buddieproshop are the two i use and compare prices+shipping costs.

blockbuster is on the west coast (if youre there too it helps on shipping)

I've heard tons of great things about buddies.com... I'm thinking of purchasing my next new ball from them, since the beat my pro shops prices by about 90 bucks or so..  Leaning towards the inferno line...

Toss up between the intense and the original

Another recommendation here for Buddies. I ordered a ball from them and they called to verify the pin and top weight before they shipped it. Also ordered ABS Dynarooz from them (Awesome shoes!). They showed up quickly. Excellent service. Will definitely do business with again.

Mgbowling and bowling.com are related. I've worked with both and never had a problem. However, I did buy only accessories I mostly use Buddiesproshop.com because the the communication and prices. I'll second anyone when that say Buddies is the best.
