Wholesale Bowler - is it just me?
« on: May 01, 2011, 11:32:06 AM »
I ordered a pair of White/Gray Dynothanes on closeout from them on April 23rd. They debited the money from Pay Pal the same day. As of today, I have heard nothing, no e-mail with tracking number, no response to a phone messages, nor e-mail  (messages sent on Thursday 4/28). I have never dealt with them before, and read a few posts here and things sounded pretty positive. They don't answer the phone, you just get voice mail when you call. If anyone has ordered from them, does it usually take this long just to get a tracking number to find out if they shipped your order?

I had a huge problem with them. Took a week and a half of calling everyday to finally get a responce and they said the item was discontinued but they could send me XX color if I wanted. So I asked for a refund and they did immediately. I did however open a paypal case to get their attention. Then and only then did I get a response. Besides the stupid voicemail they got which they never return calls

If I were you, based on KoukiGS's response, I'd make one more call to them, give specifics and saying if you don't get a call back, then you will file a PayPal case. But be polite about it, as always.

It's a shame when these things happen and  all you really want is some kind of information/confirmation. Makes you wonder why when people are in business to make money, this just brings them grief and trouble as a business. Customer Service means so much.

I sent another e-mail this AM. I tried to call them, and now there is a phone co. message saying "we are sorry, the phone call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial again." I made sure I was calling the correct number, so I went ahead and disputed through Pay Pal just to cover myself.

Well, Mike from Wholesale Bowler called this afternoon. He said he had been out sick for several days and was unable to access the e-mail o update me. It turns out that the shoes I ordered had not been sent, as there was a problem with them (damaged) and they were the last pr. they had (a closeout). He was very accomodating and switched my order to a better shoe with a nominal upcharge (much less than the price on the website for Tour Ultra's). So he is sending me a tracking number as we speak, and hopefully the situation is resolved.
