hey everyone, just wondering if anyone has done business with this user. I am contemplating buying a ball that he calls a 'BLEM' (Rule Delta 1). He says that the only thing 'wrong with these balls' is the color of the labels, and the "CG is offline." Is that a serious defect that I should heed? I want this ball, but if it's totally messed up, i don't!
It's not that i don't trust user Billy Ray (owner of this online Proshop), it's just that I don't know him.
Let me know the answers to the two q's here! thanks!!

A little boy looked up at me once and said "So you must be The Striking King." Coolest thing I've been told!
I'm pretty positive I'll shoot 300... just not sure when.

I have not had the pleasure of buying a ball from Billy Ray....YET...but I'm saving up for one.
But he is a long time user out here...a well respected bowler and I know he has offered help to many of our users with drillings and all sorts of other top notch secrets. I know in this bowlers case he has taken an extravagant amount of time to help me drill and prepare balls on a shot that I could not find a wiggle to even find 1/2 of a fair shot(all of the lefties where I bowl have left except me and few other fools). BUT with his help and expertise I'm starting to see a glimmer and have actually matched up well with some of the best bowlers in our area for a bit on a shot that heavily favors righties(imagine that...some call it heaven).
I don't know him personally or live near him but he has probably spent 5 hours reading my notes and complaints and has personally called me and used his professional time (and refused compensation) to help me bowl better. When I call the center where he is the pro one knows that he is important in the area and well respected. I don't think you can go wrong.

I have seen his remarks and suggestions from ray in the Forum and does seem like a great guy. If he says the CG is marked wrong on the the ball maybe in the purchase should see if he would mark it correctly for you.
and please let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the props guys. The CG's are marked correctly just not in line with the Pin-MB Line. I circle the CG in wax pencil for us in the shop to avoid having to hunt for them when we take them out to punch them for customers. I was skeptical at first when I ordered them myself and don't begrudge anyone for being this way with their money especially nowadays! I drilled one for myself about 4 weeks ago and practice with it and its a very nice ball!

Billy Ray is a very stand-up guy and have always heard nothing but good from any of his customers. I am from his area and although he does not know me I am very aware of who he is. I would be willing to take a shot if I were you.

I have bought from Bill twice and have no problems whatsoever.

yeah, I am confident in his business now b/c of these posts. Thanks y'all!
