Review
Mark drilled my Prophecy with the pin under the ring finger and the CG in line with the pin (I uploaded a picture of the ball here ->> http://new.photos.yahoo.com/psaunders300/photo/294928803986218809/2). This drilling gives the prophecy a strong mid-lane roll according to Mark without sacrificing the backend move. My PAP is 5 1/4" over and 3/8" up. I throw medium revs (275-300) and medium speed.

I used the Prophecy on my Tuesday league (dry wood lanes) with great success. I have been looking for a way to play dry lanes in my comfort zone (down-and-in) and this ball gives me that ability. I played from about 12 out to 5. The ball went long and made a strong move about 3/4 of the way down the lane. The movement was very predictable, not flippy at all but a strong hook nonetheless. The continuation through the pin deck was great!

I then took the Prophecy for a test drive at a different house with synthetic lanes. This house is known for having a good medium oil 40 ft. THS. I was able to play an outside line with the ball (10 to 2) and it still rolled the same. I experimented with different hand positions and speeds and the ball still proved to be very predictable and have a strong rolling backend with great continuation. Coming around the ball more made it closer to a flip type of reaction, but it never overreacted no matter how hard i tried .

The ball does need dry boards to make its move, so use this ball on its intended condition and while everyone around tries to tame the dry, you will have fun knowing you won't have to!!

Video of me throwing the ball can be found at http://insitebowlingproducts.com/video/prophecy/prophecy-low.wmv

Thanks for reading and please let me know if you have specific questions about the ball, I will be happy to answer them.

16# ball with about a 3 inch pin and 2.5 oz of starting topweight.

I'm a no thumber. Early or violent hook is not my friend. I wanted something long and smooth to help me combat over reaction.

At the suggestion of Mark Russo, ball was drilled with the pin 2 inches and the cg 1 inch from pap. A large and deep weight hole was required on the val in the thumb quadrent to get the statics legal.

On fresh oil the ball is clean through the heads and into the midlane. When the cover finds dry it starts to hook and doesn't stop charging until it hits the curtain behind the pins.

The cover out of box was a little too strong for my needs. The backends and outside boards are very well stripped in this area. I hit the ball with 4000 abralon and coated it with several coats of control it to lower the hook potential.

I can now start deep and feed the ball out into the dry and watch it smooothly roar into the pocket. If I miss a bit right it roars on back. If I pull it into the oil it holds and hits the pocket. It isn't overly sensitive to slight speed or release mistakes either.

Carry is close to 100% on well executed shots. If I do get taped on a good shot it usually is a 9 or 4 pin, which shows how strong the ball is at the pins. The wide misses usually come back to pocket, but may leave a ten due to that late entry angle. Pulled balls tend to come in light and usually carry. The tap on those hits is a weak 7 as the cover really needs dry to get into a proper roll.

Overall, a really nice ball when you have a defined dry area to aim for. Clean coverstock and strong core. The ball has a nice even roll and is a good choice to blend out a wet/dry or tougher pattern as long as the oil isn't too long.

I bought this ball when it was first released. I have had quite a few 700 series and not many below 600. this ball gets down the lane and makes a vicious turn to the pocket and knocks down everything in its path. this ball has great carry and pretty predictable hook to it. i bowled with it last nigh for the first time on my Monday league this year and shot 204, 247 and 244 for a 695 set. this ball rolls great and carries the world. i cannot wait to get my hands on insites latest product the revelation. thanks insite.

This ball is incredible! It gets down the lane and makes a violent snap to destroy the pins. It over-reacted about 5 times going right through the heart of the pins but it still struck everytime. This ball is so under looked for its quality, it's absolutely amazing. Actually this company is so underlooked for its great quality. If you can find one of these and believe me I know it's hard then buy it, you won't be disappointed. InSite Prophecy rating 10/10.

This is my second review for my second Prophecy. This one is drilled more aggressive than the first, and it shows. This one hooks earlier than my other one and is much stronger in the mid-lane. Good for medium-heavy oil. Can't wait to throw it more. InSite Prophecy rating-10/10!
