The Virus core body utilizes two flip blocks and is encased in an inner shell material, which produces a lower RG resulting in increased revolutions. i had this ball drilled rev leverage 3 3/8", from pap slightly above the grip midline,in a 12:00 direction from cg.i bowled on medium to heavy oil condtion w/carrydown.this ball hits like a truck it is easy to get through the heads and midlane part.when it finds a hint of dry area,just watch those pins explodes straight to the back!.in a thursday nite league i used it for the first time i shot 246,259,209 for a nice 714 series.this maybe the sleeper ball or surprise ball of the year.scale of 1-10(9.5)

The Nu-Line Virus is the sure bet sleeper of the new bowling season!

We drilled our ball (Full Leverage) with a 3-3/8" Pin from the PAP in the Strong position. We used a weight hole at 5-1/2" over from the grip center 2" down from the PAP. 1/2 positive side wt.

I went to the lanes and rolled rolled several games of practise on a typical house shot, we would consider Medium Oil. The ball rolled LONG and then hit the break point with a BIG Left turn! WOW what a left turn! Shot after shot the ball held consistant in its lengh and big backend performance. The Pin carry was nothing less than Devastating! Using the term, "Hits like a Truck" does not do it justice!

I took the ball later that evening to a Summer Classic League and found the ball was turning heads in that I opened with 249, with a couple bad shots wide that normally would have cost me with any other ball, the Virus recovered and made it back to the pocket!

I finished the evening with a 235, and 259, and what impressed me the most about this ball was that I was able to use the ball the entire evening! I did not go to my bag once for a ball change as I normally would be doing by the third game.

I encourage everyone who reads this review to Run (Not walk!) to their local Proshop and get the Virus immediately!

I PURCHASED THIS BOWL ON-LINE AND WAS TOLD PEOPLE COULDN'T KEEP IT ON THE LANE.I HAD IT DRILLED FOR MAX HOOK WITH A SUICIDE HOLE.I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I THREW THIS BALL FOR THE FIRST TIME.IT DIDN'T MOVE AT ALL.I WAS VERY DISSAPPOINTED.I NORMALLY THROW 17MPH WITH MED. REVS.I WAS THROWING 15-16 MPH ALL REVS AND IT JUST DIDN'T COME UP.IT HAS HOWEVER BECOME A GREAT DRY LANE BOWL.IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A BOWL THAT MOVES IN OIL THIS IS NOT THE ONE!!!!!

Have this one drilled, 5" pin and 4" CG. Righthanded. This ball has tremendous back end. The summer patterens I bowl on now are almost to light for this ball, Looking forward to the heavier league shots coming this fall. Works very nicely for med. to heavier oil. Kicks the corners out very well from deep inside. Nice all around ball.

This is a follow up on the virus,and i say it keeps getting better and better.earlier this summer i was bowling the virus on wood and it has done its job.so my fall thursday morning leaugue i am bowling on the synthetics.i tell ya this ball is just as effective and powerful saving so much energy on the back end.i think and still believe that this is the surprise pearl ball.the cover is holding up very well and getting STRONGER guys!!what i'm trying to tell you guys that this ball is the real deal a skid flip,reaction ball with plenty of torque.i can't wait to try the deadly virus and give my review on that..nice job nu-line(1-10)9.5

Ball is drilled 3 3/8 x 5".  No balance hole, CG kicked out about 1/2".

I am a faithful Columbia user, but their prices are starting to break the bank.  I decided to go out on a limb and buy a Virus.  I had to get it online because there are no Nu Line dealers in Nebraska.

I am very pleased with this ball.  It has a very predictable reaction on almost every lane condition.  It tends to skid out a little on wet lanes, but there aren't too many shots that can stop this ball.

Have had one 300 with this ball, and several 260++.  I give it a 9.5 out of 10.  I wish Nu Line balls were available to use in PBA competition, because I hate to leave this one at home when I am on the road!

I'd had this ball sitting NIB for a long time.

Friends had used it and loved it.  Plus I had the Deadly Virus which had looked pretty good for me at times!  

Recently on my home house slop, I had been seeing a lot of Freak Outs perform well on our medium heavy heads with ooze at the back.  My results at this house thall vary based on the number of ringers I leave per night and how motivated I am to bear down for up to near 20 on the bad nights!

If I only come up with one or two then the results are usually right near 7.

Have been using the AMF Evolution Tour and some times the Deadly  to solve this but I can't move left to get a more direct angle  due to some drynesss outside.

Heard this and Deadly use the EZ Money core so I thought might be close to the freak out.  A little confused on the coverstock, It's Mica Tek with SuperNova?  Wha?  Love those Marketing guys.

Anyway is it reactive or particle.  Or pearl with light particle.  Don't know here's what Supernova with Mica Tek with an EZ Money core will do for ya!

Condition, on 3 and 4 the worse lanes in the house for lefties.  Light oil in the  heads and no backend hardly at all for the lefty to start.  Like my freshly "oiled and stripped"(yeah right) league but lighter.

On the pair with me a real good slow speed righty lacing a Pioneer in to the pocket ever time. He couldn't find the pocket with anything else.  Stronger stuff DOA at the pocket and lighter stuff no backend.

On the left I see about the same just a touch more head oil.
THis gem purchased on a steal from Drill Wizard with a 2 1/2 inch pin out and 2.5 ounces of top weight seems to be just the ticket on this tricky shot.  Drilled 4 1/2 X 3 1/2 weighthole on a 7:30 line from the grip center at 6 1/4 inches.

AMF Evo Reactive could not push thru the heads and then died on back.  Deadly was  burnt out at 30 feet, Dynamic Groove was too weak.

This baby allowed me to push out over 14 to 15 to about 7 and then came raging back.  (Think EZ Money flaring all the way to the pocket)  Great recovery, great squaring up, Awesome hit!

On this particularly bad pair often bowled on poorly by myself and others in tourneys I couldn't believe what this ball was doing!  (Think accidently oiled from the pins back to the foul line) I don't know if it is the Freak Out or too much skid yet for my league condition but it looks like a special ball!

Think EZ Money ( I love it's look) combined with more push.
I'll update after league attempts.
