Jay Heinzelman wins the 2007 LaCross fall classic tournament with the Break. Used it all 17 games.
"Thanks everyone! It's certainly gratifying to have everything come together for 17 games in a tournament that I've beaten my head against the wall on and off for about 10 years.
I tried my Special Agent up 2nd arrow with 50 ft of skid, up 4 board... once thru the nose and once thru the 3-6 pocket. Tried 7-8 board... strike, strike, tried the Break, strike, flush strike, so I figured go with the shinier ball in hopes to not have to move as fast. After 17 games I was standing in the same spot with the same target, just with speed and angle changes pair to pair. (Lane 1 on Sunday I had to move 2 and 2 though for the lone exception) My game is an enigma that way. Most days I wish I had a wrist, but this weekend I matched up.
I drilled my Break pin over ring finger (about 65 degrees) for an aggressive ball to play deeper with. I was able to do that in the CWSBT in Stevens Point on the Viperish shot that I played 3rd arrow with good success, then I guess it proved it's versatility this weekend. I wanted something a little longer and snappier than my dullish Special Agent and it does the trick in it's 4000 abralon state."
