Title: 300 Global is now 900 Global?

I just went to their website (http://www.300global.com) today and noticed their name has now changed to 900 Global.  The new address (http://www.900global.com) routes to the same page.  I wonder why the name change?

newguy, can we have more details please?

They hired Robert Mushtare to be their first staffer and thought the name change was appropriate.  

(I heard it from my brother's neighbor's daughter's boyfriend's uncle who lives across the street from Phil, so I know for a fact this is the reason for the name change)

I hope that Ebonite wasn't the reason.  It's a long shot, but maybe they didn't like the fact of '300' being in the new name, since they just acquired Columbia 300.  I know it's a Hail Mary, but until Phil gives us the details, that's the only explanation I can think of.

There were some reasons why. I am sure Phil and Eric will fill everyone in on it. This was in the works for a while and they just released it today.  Still same company though.  Just had to change name.  The new ball will be out very soon.

Funny thing is that about a week ago I was wondering when more bowling companies would start dropping the 300 and going to 900 - you know with all the 900 series being bowled the past few years.

I agree,so here goes.
I think the Yankees need to move Jeter to 3rd to protect A-Rod and bat Abreu 6th or 7th. Is that what you ment.

No Phil I don't agree,  A-rod is playing injured He should be batting 5th right now and then they can buy Prince Fielder and JJ Hardy from the Brewers and also get a couple of the Brewers pitchers send their payroll even higher yet then complain they can't win.

Burning question in my mind and I also pmed him about this, will 900G continue to make their shoes only up to 13 or will he expand to at least 1-2 sizes larger than that?

I know some on here would like them READILY AVAILABLE in larger sizes, as well as some of the bowlers I bowl with. Since they aren't and they don't want the hassle of special ordering any, they normally just stick with the bad workmanship of Dexter's.

That is my opinion of Dexter's in the larger sizes and some others opinions as well. That is not a blanket statement of Dexter's in general, so don't take it that way.

According to this  thread (http://"http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=161966&ForumID=84&CategoryID=2") they will no longer be doing custom orders.  I may be wrong, but I read that to mean they will only make sizes up to 13.
