pin is above ring and gc swung out,anyone used the Alien that may tell me how they react,its still in out of box condition,I would love the imput.

opened the thumb and switched grips rolled 2 games on medium oiled lanes shot 214 open in the tenth(missed 10 pin) then rolled a clean 247

ball wasnt afraid to make the turn,rolled very consistant.
gonna move thumb back a tad to my span,plus the oval thumb is awkward.

I didnt know that for sure,
but I got a decent deal on a used Alien and all I did was open the thumb and I actually could roll the ball like this,but moving the thumb would be nice,I liked what I saw out of its reaction ,even though I only threw it 2 games,It seemed to not have alot of over/under.. but we'll see.

ball reads wet/dry very well turns corners like no other ball I've owned,starting to like this ball!

I would buy a used one but even i am not stupid enoough too spend 250 plus dollars on a ball. I own about 250 balls and 200.00 drilled is my limit, so 300 drilled is just plain nuts. I can uusally get 2 high end balls drilled for that much locally less when i win the right ebay auctions.

King cranker i am glad to hear the alien is working good for you and i do think the radar is a very good ball that you were interested in. I knocked the cover down and repolished and the Radar is backending monster now, much more angular than box which is super smooth.

thanks Warren,I guess until someone tries one they will never know what it can do for them,although I agree the 300 price is high,it seems Warren300 has good deals on Elite balls of all kinds,best I have saw around anywhere.

mrbowlingnut,thanks and yes I did want a Radar,still do,but since getting many balls in lately,I'll have to wait.
