My buddy won an AZO Drastic Super Carbon at a local tournament doing a skills challenge. Props to him..he spared the 2-3-8-9 just like chris barnes....anyways....does anybody know anything about this ball?? I've never seen it, and have only seen one guy throw this ball.

I have a Drastic purple/yellow particle. Is this the color of the one you have? It was produced in red/black also. I have had mine for some time now, but just recently had the thumb adjusted to my new span. Prior to that it was just sitting around in my basement. I got a chance to throw it Friday. Love it! Hits very hard- has good length and smooth arcing motion down the lane. Mine only has about 9 games on it. Looking forward to throwing it again Wednesday if I have enough oil. It worked great for me Friday untill the head oil went away. Then it began to hook-stop on me. Very good ball overall.

its gold and purple. So its particle??? so more of a smooth, controllable ball???

Yes,
That would be the one. It is actually purple/gold as you stated. Upon it's release it was called the purple/yellow. And yes it is a particle. Mine is drilled basically label leverage which is supposed to create a more arcing reaction. However others who have thrown this ball claim to have witnessed a simular reaction. Not sure if I would call it a control ball but it does not appear to have a skid-snap type reaction. It makes a very strong readable turn that continues right through the rack, given the head condition is not too dry. I am still testing mine. That is why I am yet to post a review on it.
