Revelation mini-review

Got a Revelation drilled up Tuesday night...finally!!!

The funny thing is that the colors make it look a lot like the Frankie May ball...you be the judge, I uploaded pics of the ball are here:

Mark put a length drilling on it.  His intent was to have the ball get some length and a strong flip on the backend. What I saw was not too much length (it started up a about 2/3 of the way down the lane), but it still had a flippy backend...I liked what I saw, although I am going to put some polish on it to allow the ball to get a little further down lane before making a move.  I was able to lay the ball down at 20 out to 12 at the arrows to about 5 at the breakpoint for most of the night.

My scores for the night were 214, 248, 192 for a 654 set, not too bad for the first time out with it.  The last game I did not move right like I should have and did not send the ball out consistently.

Even though I went through the nose 3 or 4 times the last game, I did not leave a split - I like that about this ball - it seems to mix the pins very well!!

Please let me know if you have any questions about the ball.

WOW Paul, Scores like those could be shot by balls that cost half as much! Maybe next time Mark drills one of these ball's up for you, he could drill it to shoot 300's or an 800 so you could post a review that would justify paying Double what the past InSite balls cost! Oh and your right, this ball does look like a Frankie May Gryphon but does not sound like it's better than a Frankie May Gryphon so far!

Big talking from Drev! now if there was anything to back it up.

Well Paul I think the ball sounds pretty interesting, it is a shame you are getting so few, I will think about picking one up if I bowl well on Sunday.

And by the way Drev have you ever throwen a bad game?

Always busting on something or someone...what's up with that?  Have a coke and a smile and lighten up dude!

Sorry that you feel this way, but I think this is going to be a good ball for me (and others here)...just don't blame the ball, blame the operator...I have never been one that shoots big scores the first time out with a new ball, and I literally got this ball in my hands as my Tuesday league started (no practice or anything), so I fully expect the big scores to come, just not on the first night.  Stay tuned...

mainzer, Thanks for the support...I know the price point is high, but I am not the one setting the price.  If you really want one of these balls, I strongly suggest that you call Mark Russo and see what he can do for you.  Thanks again!

I will back psaunders300 on this one. I saw him throw on tuesday and he did get it in his hands as league was starting. The ball gets down the lane and flips up pretty hard. From what I can tell this is going to be a great ball in my arsenal as weel. I cant wait to get my hands on one.

And by the way, Drrev2000, what is your deal? saunders was only trying to post about the ball and what it does, he wasnt trying to impress you about his scores. Not everyone can trough 800 every night like you seem to be able to do.

Paul thanks for the review and I cant wait to get The Revelation in my hands.
