There was mention to the ball in King Pin, the ball with the rose. Here is the link to what it was. And for those of us remembering actually seeing one in a pro shop....well, we are getting old now aren't we.

Wife has got one of them in the closet. Too heavy for her to use but she still won't let me sell it.
