Why isn't Banger Bowling listed on BR?
« on: January 15, 2007, 08:02:08 PM »
I was just wondering why I cannot post a Ball Review on the Hole Pounder Pearl here on BR? Banger is not even listed under "Ball Manufactures". I know they are new but if I can post a review about companies that don't even produce equipment, why can't I post a review on Banger Bowling equipment? I went under www.bangerbowling.com/forum/index.php and asked David why he hasn't contacted BR and asked to be added. I am also asking anyone here at Ball Reviews why Banger hasn't been added?

Welcome to the club.  I've already requested that Banger and Insite be added.  Here was the reply:

Right now the general consensus that I have heard was that we will consider adding a Banger-specific forum once they have a few more releases under their belt and to be honest, this is the first I've heard of Insite so I'll forward that request and see what response I get.

MI 2 AZ has posted what I was told on the subject. I'll look into the code of the ball review mechanism to see what I can do about posting reviews though since, as far as i know, that information was only regarding a specific forum. Also, if you'll post questions like this in site suggestions in the future I'll see them more quickly and can respond. Thanks!

Once again. I will look into the review section.

My response to MI 2 AZ was regarding dedicated boards for the companies in question.

As you pointed out, you can write reviews for Nu-Line and AZO on our site however, they don't have a dedicated board for their equipment.

How long did it take for LaneMasters/Legends to get their own dedicated board?  Year, two, three years?  I've forgotten.  Long time.....I know that.

Scott,

I've been posting about Legends balls here for a little over 2 years (at least); A Legends/LM forum was created about 8-9 months ago, I believe.
