Does anyone have any experience with these balls?  How does the Idol compare to the Lane#1 Super Carbide Bomb on heavy oil?

it wont compare!  We have a pba pro that is sponsored by circle around here.  He gets to major amounts of oil around here the circle balls get put away and out come the brunswick balls. pretty much if you dont have the hand of robert smith and you bowl on good amounts of oil i wouls steer clear of them.

The Idol, Hero, Super Hero and Mega Idol are not oil balls but are great on house shots. The Super Hero is a high RG particle that plays well in medium-heavy oil. The new Hardcore is a good oil ball, great control, read the review someone just posted today, good explanation of how the Hardcore works.
