« on: March 27, 2006, 09:44:33 PM »
One of my team mates has had his Neo Tac Kameleon chewed up, not repairable,
bowling alley will replace

Solid Asym. RG 2.56 Diff .041
He requires a replacement ball with the sameish specs if possible.

Can anyone help.
Ive come up with Strike Zone and Diablo.

Help appreciated.
Many thanks,
M/Bandit

It is not asymmetrical... best bet I'd say is some older Brunswick ball, like the SmashR (solid PK 18 coverstock, same core) or Bruiser. The current BVP Nemesis might come close to it, too, the Diablo is a matching pendant from Storm.

He doesn't need the same specs; he needs a similar ball reaction. Good starting point is the same coverstock. Try the Nemesis. Same coverstock, similar core specs from same company - Brunswick. A Brunswick Bruiser, once sanded to the same grit as the Khameleon, 600 grit, would have a similar reaction; its stock cover is polished.

Sorry I did mean Symetrical (too many stellas at lunch)

Thanks for your help, Nemesis, and Diablo seem favourite.

I will also recommend Columbia Big Bulley, Ebonite TPC Shooter and
Hammer Vicious Attack.
Depends what our pro shops have on the shelf over here in UK, there are usually a few older balls about.

Cheers
