Has anybody heard of the Bonanza 300 ball? Who is it made by and how good is it?

blems, columbia white dot blems. made by columbia 300. Friend of mine swears to these balls, nothing but them. Of caurse if he is on anything less than medium/dry he cant get the balls to move at all. If they are very well priced buy one, good spare ball of dry lane ball. If over about 50 though not worth it.

screw ups. color mistakes, long pin outs, TONS of top weight, that kind of thing.

I got one as a 2nd ball. So far it has worked out good. Even raised my average up. I guess as long as it works for me it is ok.

Bonanzas are not always white dots. I have seen some good scores shot with these screw up balls. I think the ones that are "real balls" are labelled bonanza II though I could be mistaken.

i've seen some labeled bananza X also, i believe they are all blems, the bananza 300's are mosly all white dots, if im not incorrect.

It don't have a white dot on it, it just says bonanza 300. It has a really nice hook to it.

WELL the first bananza's were white dots NOW they can be anything but are blems still, not that it matters all that much.

BeansProshop may be expert on this subject.

They are all sorts of different balls from the Columbia type companies.

Columbia, Track AMF as stated above.

I just picked up a Hyde and a Wired bonanza, color blems, absolutely beautiful.
That is only flaw and they look better than the suppossed to be color.

I also have a Sonic X which is a blem which looks better than the usual.

All sorts of balls are available like this, from Heavy oil to plastic, with flaws being color pin out too great pin in too small, top weight, out of line mass bias.

But if it is just color, giddyup!

I just drilled up my Bonanza II Overdrive today, and in no way is this ball bad. This ball has one of the best snap reactions I've ever seen, and the carry is even better. I got this ball from Beans also...

The ball I got is a redish brown and black, with a blue spider web design on it. It is a little odd but it is beautiful. When I got it the pin which is green stuck out a tiny bit. The pro shop fixed that. It is a good ball, I like it a lot.
