I hear you, Harry.
Getting a spinner right this second might not help you in the near term, SOLELY because it takes some time getting used to it. THEN it takes some time learning what to do, how to do it, then how to do it slowly and patiently. Then you have to learn finesse. All the while you're learning how to do it, you're also learning what to use, how to use, when NOT to use it and which polishes, cleaners, and sanding materials to use to do what.
As we used to say in the computer biz, it's non-trivial.
However, I can't urge you strongly enough to get the ball rolling soon, s to speak, on the purchase of one. A set-up of spinner PLUS all the equipment will probably set you back the equivalent of 2 full NIB drilled balls. (As you can guess, I believe it is a worthwhile purchase.)
