i was just thinking why wouldnt the ball company with color blems just sell the ball the same price to consumer just offer us the choice of color?

Because The company makes a ball in some colors, and thats the "official" colors of the ball.

Something like that would create a little confusion in the PBA where balls are not only registered by name, but also have color in the listing as well.
