Desperado and Epicenter
« on: June 10, 2009, 09:43:58 AM »
I've been given the task of teasing the audience by the "Master Teaser"(Ryan)
the information at this time is limited, basically he's giving me enough rope to hang myself with. The pics you are seeing are the colors of the coming releases, the core numbers are medium rg with a medium rg diff, and a med inter. diff no numbers to be released at this time, as this could change before they actually go into production. The proposed release date is still unavailable hoping for mid July, due to plant production scheduling. As you know there are several other balls coming out being made in S.A. this will effect the timing of all releases, enouf said here are the pics!!!!!

Pre-orders will be taken as soon as I have a price structure from the "Master Teaser"

Every one of those balls (other than the Desperado) look like they hook a ton, but also look like really great pieces. Keep up the good work!

I think it is great that the Urethane doesn't hook much actually. Who cares how much everything hooks?  every ball hooks a ton these days anyway.

im so excited for both of these balls. what makes me so excited about the desperado is that it still contains the insignia core and they just wrap a urethane coverstock around it. while the natural contains that lightbulb, traditional urethane core. im very pleased that buddiesproshop is now carrying seismic too. they are who i buy from most of the time. and i very helpful. and we might get a video or two out of it too. NOW ALL WE NEED IS APPAREL AND THAT ORANGE YELLOW BALL IN THE VIDEO FROM EXPO

Some more video footage for you of the Desperado. This was filmed towards the end of a practice session, lane pattern was of a drier league shot 39ft in length. The video quality isn't the best but we'll be bringing you more videos nearer to the release dates of each ball.

Thanks for the new Desperado vid. I was not that impressed with the glance in first one.  This one gives me a better perception of what the ball has to offer.  I like what i saw a lot more.

In the first video...what finish was the cover on the Requiem?  It looked possibly 4000 Abralon or possibly polished?

Outstanding video of the Desperado...I'll be picking one up for sure.  Please, what was the layout and cover of the ball in the 2nd video.  Loved the look he was getting on the lane.

Just getting a chance to reply to a few of these now (as I sit outside my hotel in italy in the middle of a thunder storm!)...

The surface on the requiems were I believe 1000 no abralon on one, and 4000 Abralone on the other.  The 4000 gives it a bit more length and increases the back end big time...

The finish on that Desperado I believe is about 4000 abralon, and is layed out around a 4.5-5" pin with a 60 degree mass bias...

And yes, we have used the brand new Insignia core in the Desperado to give premium roll in a urethane shell, but we wont be putting a premium price on it!!

Cheers
Ryan
