I'm in the process of purchasing a circle athletics ball (Mega Idol), and was wondering if anyone has any input on this companies equipment.

I have the original idol and love it. But i only use it on sport shots. it seems to only work real well on flatter shots. drilled it with the pin under the bridge and cg kicked out an inch and is not a hard snap at all but rolls real real well into the pocket.. if you do get a mega idol let me know how it works cause i was thinking of getting one too.

I have a Super Hero that I am drilling in the next day or two.  I have seen the Mega Idol rolled, looks like good length and more of an arc, not too snappy.  But that's what I am looking for, a controlled break.  With most centers stripping the lanes each day, now everything seems to jump at the end of the oil.  Contact "stormerjip" about his Mega Idol.  He seems to like it!!

hey like TOON said i have a mega idol.  the company does warn with the idol core that u dont want to put pin below fingers and u don't want to kick the mb right because the ball will flare backwards because of the strength of the core.  so i set the pin right of ring cg in palm and this ball is hard to explain.  it does have some good length and with them smoothing the corners on the asymetric core really does smooth it out off the dry.  it is more forgiving then a lot of balls it seems to have good hold when u need it but does have recovery.  it is good clean through the heads with some midlane roll and starts to arc but it does seem that right about time time it hits pins it makes another jump towards the pin to give beter hitting power

Thanks for the input. I always like to try the smaller companies when trying on new equipment and all of this information will certainly help.
