I am so upset I don't know where to start. I feel like a fool and you would to after you read the following. I will list it in numbered easy to follow format.
1. I purchased an "Elite" from Bowlers Paradise and spend $175 for it undrilled.
2. After drilling I have $245 invested, could have bought any ball
3. The reaction is moderate, in fact it acted very much like my old zone
4. Upon further inspect and phone calls I found out it is a Powercoil 18 coverstock found on mid performance Brunswick balls.
5. This is the coverstock that was used on the Zone and current mid level products
6. I found it so worthless and was curious about their energy transfer core, which by the way they won't tell you what it is or show a picture, so I had a friend with a band saw cut the ball in half.
7. Son of a gun if this isn't the core that can be found in mid priced older Brunswick monster products.
8. After threatening to expose their scam, they offered me a full refund on a drilled ball and would ship me anything I wanted free if I would keep my mouth shut.
9. I turned them down. Just because they advertise on TV doesn't give them the right to sell a $80 ball for $160.00.
10. They may be reputable, but when it comes to the Elite ball line they are scam artists.
