I got to try the Pin Hacker, Exodus Solid and Exodus Pearl on the USBC Open Pattern in my home center. Our house uses Brunswick Anvilanes, with Twister pins and a Kegel Oiling Machine. I had the best look with the Pin Hacker on this pattern going straight up 7-8, there is a lot of backend as some reports were saying from their experiences so far at this years Open. Not sure how close our house is to the actual Open conditons as there are several variables even though the lanes are set-up the same way.

The Exodus Solid and Exodus Pearl both had good looks as well but the Pin Hacker was a clear favorite today. I was able to use the Exodus Pearl pretty much off the same line as the Pin Hacker whereas the Exodus Solid needed a moveleft with my feet to get the same results. Overall I played the lanes pretty much straight-up 7-8 with no missing inside as the ball would jump left at the end of the pattern, and none of the balls would recover consistently if missed wide(i.e. 5 board out to gutter).

I plan on testing them again in the coming 2 weeks before I go to bowl the Open and will report out shortly thereafter.

Bowled pretty good at Nationals a couple of weeks ago. I only took 3 Field balls and plastic, took my Pin-Down polished Exodus Iron, Pin-In Ring Finger Exodus Solid (Light polish) and my Pin Above Middle Finger Torment (2000 Abralon). I had a good look with the Exodus Iron and Torment, but no real good look with the Exodus (it stayed in bag the entire time, just used in practice). I managed to turn a couple of 250+ games into 230â€™s with opens in the 10th frames, also had good games going and firing 200 games with opens late in games (8-9-10th frames).
Overall had a good look starting off with feet around 17-18 to start and usually around 8-9 at the 40â€™ mark, games transition fast and usually wound up with feet around 28-32 and still getting ball to 8-9 at 40â€™. Lanes seemed to really break down for each 3-game set as I had to keep making moves left with my feet. Swinging the ball is not my â€œAâ€ game but I can manage if need be, I thought the lanes would lay a little more straight-up but I was wrong, tried to go straight as long as possible but our lanes transitioned fast. .
I did get asked several questions about the Lord Field stuff, including Kent Wagner form Lane Masters fame, he was one of the individuals working in the scale room. He came and checked out all my LF stuff and stated he had heard good things about LF through the grapevine. All the guys working in the scale room were checking them out. Kent even watched my toss a few balls during team event as he was bowling a few pairs over.
