Hole Pounder Meets PBA Experince
« on: January 05, 2007, 02:59:25 AM »
What can I truly say about this ball that I haven't already said. But WOW it's amazing. I feel like a little kid on Christmas day running down stairs to see what Santa brought me. Thats the way I feel every time I use this equipment. I bowled Wednesday Night in our PBA Experience League. I was graced with having the "Chameleon" pattern out. I played the one board with speeds averaging around 15.8mph to 16.4mph. And found the pocket on nearly every shot. First night out I shot 636 with a couple of ringing tenpins and also a hand full of stone eight pins. I am truly amazed with the versatility of this ball. I can't wait for week two of the PBA Experience.

A handfull of stone eights a coupla of ringing tens and you love the ball.Hmmm
The equipment that gets my love carries the back row.
What was your carry percentage prior to the hole pounder?
For me a night like that would be about a 70% carry.Ouch.
Unless you were the only one even getting to the pocket. Was that the case?
I know the pattern is tough but seven non carries would be a heartbreaker for me.

Drrev2000 for you supposed on every board having to coach everyone that is pretty lame that all you can say about the ball that you supposedly used.  I have left the whole back row with a Hybrid Dirty Bomb before.  I know the house that Heston bowls at.  They use Twisters and the hits are pretty lame sometimes and the pins bounce everywhere.  I am using mine Hole Pounder Pearl on Modified House shot and averaging 230 for the last 4 weeks.  I guess that is just luck right.  Maybe you should practice what you preach on your coaching and change the surface of the ball if you really had or have one. So now go ahead and make yourself fell like a bigger man and bash everything that is talked about.

I'm averaging 230 with a Charcoal Executioner on a modified house shot. Not really the point.
I watched a video on this ball and the poster was honest enough to show the ball leaving 10s and in one shot darn near a 7-10 and repeating the hit in slo-mo showing the 2 pin going straight up and doing no damage at all.
The ball looked average there and in this post it got a glowing review even though the carry was less than stellar.
I just wanted the reviewer to expand his report so I could get a idea of what makes this ball unique.
Additional information like the house uses twisters is helpful. My only experience with them was at ABCs in Reno.I was not a fan.My carry percentage encreased when I went to weaker equipment. The pins stayed on the deck and mixed better.
You guys are test staff and I guess I expected more than "It hits like a truck"
If my questions truely offend PM me and I'll remove them as that was not the purpose.

Drev2000 youu don't leave the back row? you have never left a few ringing 10s to miss a 700 set or stone an 8 pin? Come on I throw MoRich just like you and I leave pins in the back row I know you must! Why can't the Hole Pounder Pearl be a good ball? Cause YOU can't get it to carry it must be a bad ball right? WRONG. YOU not carrying with it is your problem not the balls don't knock the ball cause YOU can't adjust enough to knock all the pins down. Quit the B.S. you have left the entire back row with everything in the bag.
