Jacked, intial impressions
« on: May 11, 2012, 06:24:41 AM »
drilled up, pin under bridge, cg out 45* x hole on p4 location, left in OOB out to the lanes for a fresh WTBA Montreal shot, I have threw on this shot before so I pulled out the Torment and shot up 5 board to see how slick they were playing, played a touch longer then the week before it seemed (the torment up ten on this is money, up 5 it was weak 3 pin) so switched to the new Jacked, went up 5 ball got good length but got into a nice hard roll at the end of the pattern, had no issues covering the 15 boards to get back to the pocket, not all jerky, just smooth and rolled up hard, carried very well, one thing Ive noticed is that the balls dont seem to burn up, the keep the path and make good moves to the hole and carry extremely well, this ball is no different.  gonna leave it in OOB and use it for longer heavier patterns, on longer oil I love to play outside and this ball gives me a great look out there.  I will be comparing it to the exodus solid this weekend (although different surface finishes)

really liking this ball on the heavier side of house shots, with its very light load particle cover its got the grip inside but not so much thats its too early, it does need some oil if not the hits are def weaker from the ball burning off too much too early, but on some oil this ball retains a ton for the pocket.  have not changed box surface yet, but seen lots of versitlity out of the ball.  ball was fantastic on the Montreal pattern, as well as the Paris pattern.  Ive used it with sucess on the Cheetah and Chameleon.  (although the pearl exodus was far superior on Cheetah as it allowed me to play where i am "supposed to")  with the 4 balls Ive put in the bag I feel like for a house shot I am as complete as I've ever been with equipment, (Torment, exodus pearl, solid and jacked) with the two new releases set to hit at the end of the month, coupled with the other balls out (pin hacker, exodus iron, higgs force) its a very nice choice of balls.  Covers seem to hold up very well, my 2k abralon balls arent picking up a sheen as fast as most and they all take to surface changes with ease and make a def change in ball motion/length  with a big number assymetrical due to hit the market at Bowl Expo, folks are gonna take notice.  if anyone has questions hit me or any of the other staffers up, if we dont know we will get an answer for you
