Post by: ImBackInTheGame on November 11, 2011, 11:50:57 AM
Here's a video of Jet Staffer Jim Burnett throwing the brand new Jet Altitude.

This new ball is poured by 900 Global, that's right MADE IN THE USA!

Altitudes are now available, mine will be arriving tomorrow!  The pre-order deal was just too good to pass up for a high-performance ball!

Drilled the Altitude at 60*x4.25"x45*. No x-hole yet. Maybe a P-2.5 or P-3 is needed to remove some side wt. Rolled it on fresh ths and like the reaction I saw.
I believe Jet Bowling has a winner here.
Interesting coloring of this ball. Rust red and lime green are fine if the ball is sitting on the rack. Easy to find it. But with my rev rate, it turns to brown going down the lane. I don't mind it, but it seems to bother others. And if they are commenting on my ball, they may not be concentrating on their own game.
Figjam too follow soon. I hope.

Update on the Altitude.
At 4000 matte finish, this ball wanted to move a little early for me so I added light polish. Gets down lane and makes a strong move off friction.
I starting to like this ball as much as I like my Visionary Crossover. I can start with the Altitude, and when it starts to move too much, I switch to the Crossover.
I see consistent ball motion and really good carry.  5-6 boards stronger than the Crossover.
