Nice!!! Had no clue that Jet were designing their cores now.  :o That's good news for Jet staffers. The color looks good also.

It looks like a modified c300 alter ego core..granted that one was symmetrical..and had different core #'s, it was a great core at that time!

Yes the core is "based" off of the Alter Ego core, but from what I understand there were 3 changes made to it resulting in different numbers.

You may laugh at the thought of a 4000 grit polished ball being for heavy patterns, but I saw a guy throwing one of these at a tournament this past weekend. We were bowling on a modified Chameleon pattern, and he did seem to be able to send that ball wider and get it back from further out than the rest of us. The guy did have some hand, but he wasn't like Robert Smith and the rest of us like Walter Ray. I can tell you this; he was able to get that 4000-grit polished ball back from further right than I could get my Taboo back from. Now, this was a very limited sample size, but I do believe this ball can handle a pretty fair amount of oil.

I added another video by Jet Staffer Jim Burnett.

Gene do you know the name of the bowler you referred to.  Thanks for sharing what you witnessed!

A guy I know from the Chicago area is pushing Jet pretty hard.  I like what I've seen on this ball so far, but I don't think anyone around here (Chattanooga area) has even heard of Jet.  I'm not sure I want to jump in with both feet without seeing someone I know with a similar style using it.
Hit the pocket and hope for the best

Jet is really making some good stuff..  I tried an Altitude ( got it in a trade).  I wasnt expecting much since I have never heard of them, the Altitude quickly got my attention as being a very powerful and controllable ball....  If I could use them in Regionals, I'd be drilling them exclusively but I can't.

Definately give Jet a look.  In a short amont of time they have Made some pretty good bowling balls

I took a chance and drilled a Turbulence up and let me tell you.. This is a fantastic ball!
I wanted something that would allow me to move in deeper and still recover with energy.
So I contacted Jet tech staff with my stats and they came back with a 60x4x70 drilling that turned out be exactly what I needed.  The ball coasts thru the front, picks up in the mids and makes a strong angular turn.
If you are a stroker/tweener like me (300 rev rate, 15mph), and  sometimes struggle with carry and recovery when moving in.. This is the ball for you.   I feel like I can get this ball back from almost anywhere!   It's definitely has a motion that I've been lacking in my arsenal, so I'm excited!   First night out (last night) shot a 725 with half a dozen or os bad shots, so I got high hopes once I get more used to the motion.

I'm only on jet crew but use jet every bowling night.  Always great scores and reliable.  Always very confident to use my jet equipment.  Rarely i'll bring another ball in from any other company and struggle, then my teammates will actually tell me to put that crappy ball away and use the jet stuff.  I'm  really pushing jet around here where I live in a town of hammer heads.  I've converted a few though.  Success!  I'm very eager to get the turbulance and an altitude pearl.  I have the rest.

I was happy to see the Alter Ego core. It was a great ball. It was also asymmetrical.
