Looking for info: US Act "Broken Arrow Ver. 723"

Hi there - can anyone help me with some info concerning US Act's "Broken Arrow Ver. 723" ball? I just know that it is an Asian overseas ball (not certain - maybe Ebonite-made?), some popped up around here with a rather small price tag, and I got curious... I already did some www legwork, but it seems very hard to find any info about it - be it technical specs or some info who actually built it.

 

For the unexpected case that someone has thrown one of these - personal impressions are welcome :)

Hey Thomas , one of the girls (the third one) in this Youtube video rolls a US Act ball, don't know if it's the same ball you're looking for info about though...

Looks like they're made by Ebonite...

thanks a lot - yup, that ebay offer is the type of ball I am looking for. I know thta there have been a lot of Broken Arrow balls in the past, maybe six or seven, and the Ver. 723 seems to be the most recent one. Reactive, black and blue in color - but the rest remains obscure... :(

It IS an Ebonite ball - cover is "Traxion 0.45" coverstock from the NV series, that's confirmed so far . I guess it is simply a Complete NV in disguise, just without the silver color.

 

Just still searching for info about the core, but I'd assume that it features the CNV's nucleus?

I guess you don't remember but 6 - 8 months ago, Buddies carried a few of the US Act balls. They definitely were Ebonite balls. They did have combinations of cores and coverstocks that were not made previously here in the US. (Much like Elite balls originally were conbination of Brunswick cores and covers that were never made before.)
 
They had had 2 different balls. I have not heard of the Broken Arrow series myself. I believe the ones Buddies had had either the "Traction" coverstocks or the "10.7" or 11.x" covers. Can't recall which cores they had. Sorry.

 I bought one of those from Buddies, the U.S. ACT WANTED.  It had the BW Sting cover and the Total NV core.

many thanks for your feedback and information!

 

I haven't been able to figuer out yet which core is inside this orb, but I'd guess it is from the NV core family, and that the ball is more or less a Complete NV in disguise (What might not be bad at all) - I might give it a shot.
