Are they USBC Approved or not? and who makes their stuff? I am looking into getting a spare ball from them.

The unapproved balls were for metal inside the ball (twist off bottlecaps) and for nudity.

Ah I wanted to have naked lady inside my spare ball. Sounds like something Banger would do.

Hey mainzer,
Drrev is correct. I know HJ Malone personally, he's a distributor located in Redwood City, CA. He owns and sells this name brand and most are approved. He has a whole line of plastics including some unique clear balls and one pretty cool looking one is a complete clear ball (no core or ornament inside).
There was also a smaller distributor out here (no longer in business) who made his own line of plastics called California 300. I also remember back in Chicago in the 70's, one of my distributors named Universal Bowling and Golf also had their own line of balls under the Universal name. I guess it was the thing to do if you had money because I assume the profit margin was greater similar to grocery, drugstore or big box chains that sell their personal brand products. Hope this helps some...
