Genesis bowling igniter blast!!!!!
« on: January 01, 2015, 12:23:34 PM »

!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!
After speaking with genesis I must say that they are on the right track they are just delayed on the website, which is understandable once I was explained the reasoning ha ha

Now for ball reaction.... Took it to my local alley and rolled a few games and Wow this ball gets through front clean and has a massive turn on the back...  It had just a bit less length than my ogre ss but much more backend, so league is Sunday ill report back my scores!!!

UPDATE #2!!!!!!
Rolled the ball in league last night and was definitely getting noticed, especially with the recovery the ball has my first ball in the tenth of last game i played gutter to gutter and buried a amazing strike, which anyone with hand can do, whar really caught everyone's attention was the drive the ball had at the pins and how it just shredded the rack,I am very happy with this ball, I can see myself getting out of this slump really soon...

Thanks Genesis!!!!!

Why do you need a drill sheet to drill a ball? The layout should be based off of your personal stats (PAP, axis tilt and rotation, speed, rev rate)

I wasn't sure if the core was a y or z spin first off, and it's nice to see what they recommend for reaction based on my stats if I wanted to try a layout they recommend since its my first ball from them...  My main concern is that the website and QR code lead to nothing..

Hyme29, we apologize for not getting back to you yesterday afternoon as it was New Years Eve, and we were closed. The Ignitor Blast is a Y spin asymmetric and can be drilled the same as any standard Asymmetric core. It is a very driller friendly core and we suggest using your favorite layout for such a core. We are well aware from comments on here and from feedback from our manufacturer that the Z spins created to much of a drilling problem, so we know to stay away from those and have no plans to release one in the future.

As for the website, we are continuing to work on getting a website up, but are very short staffed, so we appreciate everyone's patients and ask you to visit our Facebook page for more information in the meantime. We will be happy to assist you with any questions you have about us or our products on there.

I have a question, is the core in the Blast from the Centaur AMB where the Flip can is on the back side so you have to draw a Line 14 3/4 from pin to pin and over to find the VMB or is it the core from the Blue Centaur as a conventional off-set forward Mb?

I was told from genesis that its a normal mb so no special layout is needed my guess its a modified dc core...

I drilled mine pin over bridge cg in Palm and mb 2" right and wow this ball turns HARD

Schwanstuker,
It is a modified version of an Anti Mass Bias core. We have the densities tailored to the #'s we are looking for from a core so we aren't just re-hashing what Visionary has already made for themselves. We have done the work for you with regards to finding the VMB. The Mb is marked correctly, so you can lay it out and drill it as you would any other asymmetric ball. Thank you for your support.

BowlGenesis,

Are Genesis balls available via the internet currently? If not, when will they be available?
And what is their/your price structure?
I know certain California pro shops are selling them, but I am on the East coast.
