Motiv Help
« on: April 10, 2009, 03:27:15 AM »
I was just wondering what kind of layouts everyone has on their TX-1s.  Mine right now is a turd, it hits like garbage and struggles to make the hill, even on drier conditions.  I was wondering what a RICO drill would do on it, if anyone had any info, that'd be great!

I had one drilled and it did the same thing you're describing.  I traded it for a Rival, yep a Rival, talk about a waste of money....yet other people throw it and it hooks like crazy....

What layout do you have on it currently?
Whats your PAP speed and revrate like?
What kind of conditions are you bowling on?

lemme get back to you on the layout, all i know is it was supposed to be a strong rolling layout.  My pap is 5 1/4 over 1/8 down, high rev, high speed.  Lately i've been throwing on a heavier pattern, but most of the year since i'd drilled the ball has been a medium pattern on old wood lanes.  i tried taking it down to 1000 abralon to get it to roll a little earlier, but it didn't help much
