My mini review of the Radical Slant
« on: April 09, 2011, 09:32:29 AM »
I have this drilled with the pin 4 1/8 from my pap and MB in a strong position.  I left the coverstock OOB.  On a fresh house shot, this ball easily went thru the heads.  So easily, it just skated.  I would have thought with this strong of drilling, I would see a stronger movement on the backend.  Unfortunately, that didn't happen.  So, I decided to take the cover down to 4k abralon to knock some polish off.  Threw it again, and it was a totally different ball.  Since there really isn't that much information other than its meant for a 'house shot' and pictures of the core, I wonder what kind of house shot they tested this on?  They indicate the ball is suppose to retain energy longer.  I agree it does, but when does it start to use that energy its stored? With the cover change, I am very happy with it. but I was not impressed when it was left OOB.  I would definitely buy another one hands down and try a different drilling.
